Some good news, FCBD has been purchased by Universal.
Really looking forward to this. The book was great and there is supposed to be an animated series. Still need to read the rest of the book series.
Universal is creating a live-action TV show for Dungeon Crawler Carl, too. I bet it’ll be a hit. The books are really fun.
Live action, that might be a tough one to pull off. I thought I saw somewhere it was animated but all I can find is that they say it will be adapted for TV. Maybe I assumed animated since Seth Macfarlane is involved?
They did a webtoon version. So, sort of a digital comic.
Is this a first appearance?
dont worry looks like its vault they will find a way to screw it up
Nope, first appearance would probably be the ashcan for Crocodile, at least on cover as have not read it yet. The kickstarter just ended as well on Backerkit and was one of the most funded ones done.
a number of comic book publishers were taking Free Comic Book Day matters into their own hands, by publishing a series of free comics for the first Saturday in May, the 2nd of May, and calling it… First Saturday In May.
Very catchy…![]()
Shouldn’t it be “First Saturday is May Day” though…?
However, it seems that negotiations with Penguin Random House, the distributor of Marvel, Dark Horse, Boom, IDW, and Dstlry, did not go as smoothly. Marvel Comics, in particular, had wanted to participate in Free Comic Book Day, but Penguin Random House exercised its distribution contract, and as a result, those titles will not be participating in Free Comic Book Day. Instead, they will be part of something called Comic Free-For-All.
Little better….not great…
