We have a USPS gripe thread….how about others?
I ordered these together (free shipping combined discount).
Fulfilled by Walmart. Said they’d arrive today.
One package is still on track for today…but hasn’t started moving (still being prepared).
The other is moving, but now is quoting a week out.
What?! How does this make sense?
It’s Walmart.
I ordered a new MacBook for my son from them when they had a sale. Used their delivery service.
Received notification that it was dropped off at my house.
Opened the package.
Box of Fruity Pebbles with rocks and other heavy things in it to make it about the MacBook weight.
Called Walmart. They said that I would have to order a new one and they would refund my order.
Funny thing was we filmed the opening of the MacBook because it was for my son. They could not dispute it.
Took three calls and about as many months to get the refund ( actually did a charge back with Amex to force the refund)
Did get the second one though.
Got a delivery from CGC today. Informed my wife so she would be home as it requires signature to be delivered. At least it has in the past.
Get a text from Fed Ex that says it was dropped off with a photo evidence attached.
Not sure I Like that.
At least I don’t live in a neighborhood with pirates…and my house is set back from the street a good distance.
FedEx is weird about signatures and if they’ll drop off or not. When I did CGC, I would have them deliver it to a Walgreens near our house. I’d then go pick it up. I don’t bother with CGC anymore though, so meh.
FedEx can be delivered and picked up at the FedEx store. I always had my CBCS and cgc as pickups there.
