@Alana, it does not take much for me to buy a TMNT book, so an Eastman Homage to TMNT 1 is enough for me to grab TMNT #140.
Are you thinking the solicitation and cover are hinting at a new team of Mutants?

I think so it’s very rare for a TMNT to have 1:10, 1:25, 1:50 ratios on a non landmark issue number this being #140. As for covers the only hints we get is this Eastman cover which is also the 1:50 in Black and White.

Turtles books are funny, most people do not care about them, until they have a reason to care about them and then they explode, so for $3.99 its a very safe play.

As much as people will label the 1:50 “rare” thus more “desirable”, a cover without color does not make Eastman’s art look good…

PRH shows TMNT doing 10, 25, and 50 copy ratios for the next 3 issues. I’ll pick up an A and B if anything cool happens storywise.
I like this cover. I will ask my shop to order it for me.
If they flop, then oh well.
