I like Hughes’s drawings of pretty women just fine, but I’ve always preferred J. Scott Campbell’s drawings of pretty females. Milo Manara wins the contest tho, although he’s not doing anything for Marvel anytime soon as there is bad blood…

I’m not a fan of word bubbles on covers, I think they detract rather than enhance.

I also do not like word bubbles on covers.

The 1:100 virgin doesn’t have the word bubbles according to the pic on PRH. But at $7.99 cover price this might be a steep buy in.

That is true as well. When they stop talking because they are so mad you just know you are in for one heck of a long night!

New character alert.

Blue Bolt sounds like an energy drink. I like he’s being presented as a joke and a jerk tho. Could be funny.

Looks like if Rob Liefeld created Snowflame

Isn’t Gerry Duggan the writer responsible for creating the Deadpool that we know today? Deadpool was a nothing character until he took over, he was a completely different character.

Might be worth keeping an eye on a new Gerry Duggan creation.

Ahh those New Guardians, how did they not take off with the likes of Snowflame and Hemo-Goblin.

No. Joe Kelly I believe is the writer who made Deadpool the character we know today. He appeared in NM 98 and was just a throw away character. Wasn’t until Joe took over the first ongoing (with Ed Mcguiness adding little flairs like the point at the back of his head) that we got the Deadpool who breaks the 4th wall, Blind Al, and more that makes Deadpool recognizable.

A lot of credit belongs to Joe Kelly and Gail Simone.
