I love almost all cover gimmicks except glowing in the dark. Itās just annoying to me that I have to shine some light on my comic then take it to a dark space to enjoy the gimmick as opposed to any other gimmick that you can see/feel right away
They should do that for a whole comicā¦just sit in the dark with a black light and read it the story.
Has anyone publisher ever offered such a gimmick?
I think we can all agree that scratch and sniffās are ā¦ without questionā¦ the worst.
Does anyoneā¦ and mean anyone actually want one for collectability purposes? I shudder to think if there is.

Radiant Black is such a great series and doing some cool stuff. Secondary market hasnāt taken notice, but itās worth a read.

I think the only thing that has hurt Radiant Black is the stop and start (taking that 6 month break, then there were a few breaks in-between) they have done over the course of the last year. Then when they did the two issues a month also did hurt the book a bit as there were a lot of complaints across many of the fan boards. Since Kyle had gotten surgery that delayed things, they should have not done the 2 books a month and just release one a month spreading those out.

Cover buy
Kinda feels like cover buys are becoming the new spec game. Marvel has probably ruined new first appearances since they have 3 in every issue. Iāve been selling more and more books that just have a great cover lately.

gotta say i do enjoy buying covers. Tough to tell if itās digital but try to go w/ traditional if I can help it.

Didnāt feel like this quite merited āWorst Coversā or āModern Comics Heating Upā. I usually follow and pickup all of Artgermās Spidey and/or ASM stuff but this one seems low effort or just very basic for his style. Itās usually hard to not knock it out of the parkl with Black Cat, but Iāve seen rookie artists come up with more interesting art or poses for her. overall, a very B- grade. Not horrible, but not stand out.
No Dynamite on Diamond this week from what I seeā¦
