Not sure I understand this move by image. I get facsimiles have been popular lately, but do you have to put so many out in one week? Do you think LCS’s are going to stock up on these books they likely still have original first prints sitting in back issue bins for less than the facsimile price …
Space them out a bit, at least…

The real irony here is, the company was started out of spite for Marvel’s ways yet now we find them copying the same marketing and publishing tactics from Marvel. Image has or is slowly turning into the very thing it didn’t want to be… I’m sure eventually they will be screwing over the creators in some way or another just like Marvel did back in the early 90s.

Planet Death #1 has a Chromium cover. Any chance this is a legit, true 90’s style Chromium cover?
Knowing Bad Idea it is probably printed on recycled chromium covers from the 90’s and you won’t know which one until you open the book.
Did you decide to order one of these? The 1 of 1 is very intriguing to me, especially to see how the market handles it. It is what Skybound should have done with their blind bags. I’m very tempted to buy one and hold and hopefully the 1 of 1 doesn’t show up for a month or two.

Well isn’t that interesting. I have two different LCS in my area, one under 3 minutes from my house and one a half hour away. The close one quoted me $125 and the other quoted me $60. I’m going to order it for $60 and see what happens, I suspect I’m going to get a similar email.

Very disappointing.
It’s $60 to dealers, so if dealers are selling it for $60 or less they are taking a loss. There is no discount code for this item on Lunar for dealers.
I passed on it. I have no interest in Post Malone or Vault.
