meh
Anyone picking up the first Comics! magazine?
Not sure what to think if it will have anything of value but the price point is rightā¦
Iāll likely pick one upā¦either pre-order through MCS (if theyāre offering it) or through my LCS. At $2.99 retail might as well buy two.
Lots of people talking about itā¦so I think itāll be highly orderedā¦weāll have to see if the demand is there.
Edit: MCS does have it up for pre-order. $2.09. Easy decision.
Iām definitely interested to read it and see if it can be a Wizard for the world of 2026. The cover is a mash-up of existing art, so no new AB art ā unsure if collectors will covet it. Havenāt seen a page count but yeah, canāt argue with the price.
Edit: Just saw itās a 32-pager.
Looking into this as part of this weekās FOC article.
Cover H (not shown on Lunar) looks to be foil variants of all the solicited covers. If you look at the list of artists (below), each one is tied to a cover being solicited.
- A is Shehan.
- B & F are Wayshak.
- C is House.
- D is Alexander.
- E is Luckert
- G is Suspiria (blind bag)
- I is Robinson, although itās already a foil (with a $9.99 price tag)ā¦so may be the same cover, or maybe a variation of it
Limited edition foil blind bags that could include a ONE-OF-ONE āGolden Ticketā gold foil variant by Chris Shehan. Other randomly inserted variants include foil, full art variants by Jonathan Wayshak, Jason Shawn Alexander, Suspiria, Chris Shehan, Jeremy Robinson, Maan House, Danny Luckert
Nope. The FOMO crowd has moved on to the next thing.
I like the fomo crowd. They send me their money.
Nope. I might buy one just to see how far the print run dropped off from MATW #1. If they still print that on the back of the book.

It feels like I canāt give away the very last of my mark spears books. It was fun while it lasted.
It looks too computer generated for me⦠but I have yet to buy one Mark Spears bookā¦
I did well selling (and still selling) Monster and the Wolf #1 books. Like mentioned above I canāt give away Monsters #8. I didnāt buy any Monsters #9.
Itās kind of funny a tenth issue is getting a seemingly āspecialā treatment, with the repeating tens. Pepperidge Farm remembers when 10 issues wasnāt a big dealā¦
Shoot. Most Marvel books donāt make it to 10 these days.
Yep Infernal Hulk got canned at 10.
I meanā¦how long could a hulk remain āinfernalā really?
But thatās disappointing though. Another series that seem to be liked by readers getting the boot.
Itās like a marvel doesnāt know what the f$&@ theyāre doingā¦
Infernal hulk got canned to make a more movie accurate hulk
