A foil cover edition joins the standard Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #1 facsimile for collectors and longtime fans.
As well as the original, a foil version of the original cover will be available, albeit less of a facsimile. But it will dazzle and excite.
So this is on FOc this week. It’s not entirely clear to me, but this article would make it seem like the non-foil cover will be oversized, while the foil will be “standard” comic size.
Do others interpret this that same way, or have any other intel on this facsimile that can verify this or refute it?
I know it’s likely a money thing, but Seems stupid (and I don’t use that word often) to do two different sizes. I believe there was a store exclusive or something a few years back that did an oversized foil…
Perhaps I’m just a softy for The Muppets, but that Captain America / Sam Eagle cover is a must buy for me. I believe some Muppet covers caught heat in the past?
This one will be interesting for sure since the image was revealed after FOC. The Breaking Bad Jeff cover was swapped out and pushed from issue #2 to issue #3, but it was done before FOC. It’s not PG and I doubt Marvel is okay with this.
Knowing Marvel, they will probably use another cover that he submitted for this issue.
