Flipmode Comics on eBay and whatnot
Don’t ever buy a Marvel ratio. Shit publisher tanking their own product’s collectibility.

Good info. Thanks.
Just wait until Marvel starts the backdoor blow out of the Midnight ratios…
All publishers are printing more than you are let on… especially ratios. The more they print, the more they save. They’re likely not printing these to match the ratio pre-orders… we all know that, that’s just basic common sense.
On what account?
Every publisher has internal comp copies and replacements for the distributor. Marvel is the only one printing thousands and selling direct to consumers on ebay and whatnot via a flipper.
Thanks
I would love to the know the backstory of how that came to be. I wonder if they split profits or if the flipper just buys Marvel out at whatever price.
Probably some mid-level executive being greedy and wants an extra $10k in his bank account at the cost of an entire ratio market.
I’d be interested in knowing the amount of extras they are selling on a per issue basis. Thousands overall across all titles doesn’t really matter.
Follow the ebay and whatnot lives of the account I shared. They do full days with employees taking shifts and sell a ton each day. They’ll put a whole shortbox up for a single auction. These are arriving to them from Marvel via multiple pallets per “order.”
I used to buy hundreds of incentives from Diamond back when they did their sales, miss those days.
Diamond went from big company to dead within a year. So wild still.
Can’t say Crazy Joe didn’t warn them…

What type of back stock incentives are we talking about?
There are plenty of 1:100 ratios that don’t even fetch cover price out there. Is this good stuff or plain garbage?
Huh? I’m talking about 1:100s going for $10 and 1:25s going for $1. That’s from Marvel using Flip Mode to backdoor thousands. You know. You’re a friend of theirs.
Penny Pincher Collectibles was another Ebay seller that was pumping them out pretty heavy at one point. I just checked and don’t see anything currently listed there though.
Yeah, he was one of the main backdoor accounts (also is better known as Nickel N Dime). He had three total eBay accounts that would auction countless books weekly. He’s stuck with the old cases.
Flip Mode is the new backdoor beneficiary.
I can concur that Flip Mode is the new ratio dumper, I’ve watched a couple of their streams and mostly it is ratios that are legit worth a 2 or 3 dollars, but you see a few that could be tempting. Saw 2 Infinity Watch #5 1:50 go through for $1 and $2

They always have 2 of everything, so they run the same book twice. Last time I watched, there was a guy ticked off because he didn’t realize this and bid on the second one thinking his bid didn’t through the first time. He got both for $1 each. He was righteously angry about that extra dollar.
