FOC Mega Topic

They’ve already homaged DCs characters.

What I find interesting with this is there’s FAR more detail here than almost all of the A covers Romita has done for this volume so far.

First Reva cover appearance on Bounty Hutners 26. Remember, people, YOU may not have liked REVA, but a lot of people probably did.

She wasnt what was wrong with that show.

I enjoyed Reva a lot. I like the idea of more Jedi surviving Order 66 by one means or another.

Reva wasn’t the problem with the Kenobi show.

Yeah man. Got my 2 copies preordered

I didn’t care for the character all that much…Didn’t hate her, just kinda “meh”. That being said we will see her again, so I ordered a few.

has she appeared within any comics yet?

No.

The character concept was interesting. I didn’t care for her acting, and I thought they could have developed her a little more.

But it’s a tv show, not a movie. So I’m ok if that was all the reva we get.

You brought up character development…I have a feeling Disney isn’t done with her. I expect to see more. IF that is the case who knows maybe she will have time to grow the character into something more fans will like.

Considering “The Path” was brought up but not explored much further I think we’re going to get more content on that. Surviving Jedi/Force Sensitives and Inquisitors seems like a show people would watch and Reva attempting to atone for her shit would fit well there. Felt like that element of the show was setting up spin off content.

I’m confident we’re getting Quinlan in something now. I genuinely think we’re getting him in The Bad Batch.

Maybe I was the only one, but I really wanted Reva to stay bad. The villain-turned-good is so overplayed. I wanted her to be conflicted, struggle with it, then realize she’s too far gone and simply just needs her revenge. I was hoping she’d actually try to kill Luke, but then have Qui-Gon do some force ghost intervention at the last second. Instead we got the pointless visit from him at the end.

You speak the truth. And I’d like add a couple covers to the DC FOC Hot list this week:

Hans is always a solid artist, imho. Raven chewing on his hoodie’s drawstring takes this cover one step further for me–just feels like some real life angsty teen stuff.
MULTIVERSITY TEEN JUSTICE #3 (OF 6) CVR C STEPHANIE HANS RAVEN CARD STOCK VAR

I think I like the 2nd print better than the color-spash 1st print. And I want to see what the foil will look like in person.
BATMAN SUPERMAN WORLDS FINEST #4 2ND PRINT CVR A DAN MORA

And I know this has been featured here before… but I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the character design and I want one copy (or two) for myself. I hope the character is as compelling as her design.

Yeah, JRJR is very hit ans miss with (for me) for misses than hits. This panel was a serious hit. Compare it to his cover for ASM 10 and you’ve seriously gotta wonder how he makes a living as an artist.

JRJR is a great storyteller. I think his pacing, camera angles, etc. is among the best in the biz IMO. But yeah, the level of finish isn’t always there. I do wonder if the covers with little to no background are when deadlines are tight.
