I just checked diamond and looks like they are gone now.
So they were available to be ordered. We were told a few copies were sent to each store free of charge to retailers with a print run of 12k.

I think cover, they normally stay cover for the week and then they might pull them if it is a really hot book.

I would think people would want the black bag version, and its the cheapest?
From what i can see the black bag is $19 and the rest are $11.
its not its 9 buck cost
The original was such a nightmare for me to find as a kid $20 day one which was a lot back then sold out everywhere. I actually didn’t buy it until 20 years later for a couple bucks.

Same. I had school that day and by the time I got to a shop, any shop, they were sold out. I just shrugged it off and like you bought one a decade or so later for much less.
