Funko Heating Up

I got a Manara Signed book. I bought it because he signed it. Low grade book because the back cover was bent but didn’t care.

@Immunoman @Anthony

I was on his line with my best friend. He got a signature AND a sketch. Then Manara’s handler there started getting antsy with the speed of the line; and of course sketches were cut off with the next person - ME

So I did get the autograph, but not the sketch. And a certain someone ahead of me still hears it constantly from me for the last 14/15 years

I have never seen not listened to this person ever…but I love him already!

“Mass produced scarcity.” Love that. I think the comic market may have a little of this disease…

Marvel also is running with the “make more of the same thing and many variants” playbook.

Anyway…If I didn’t know better, I’d say this was @agentpoyo in this video…but we all know that can’t be as he’s chained up in @Anthony ’s basement.

Could not agree more on the 50 year mortgage thing as well….

A little would be an understatement if you ask me… and that extends beyond the comic book collectible industry.

50 year mortgage? Will Earth still even exist then?

50 year mortgages…

15 year car loans…

Government officials worried about interest rates…

The people in charge are dumbasses. None of this will help. They dont want to admit it, but PRICES HAVE TO COME BACK DOWN.

Imagine if new comics had cover prices of $9.99, as the norm. Sales would decline.
Now, if LCS put the same thinking as the government into place: “We wont reduce prices, but we’ll give you 10% off your next purchase”.
There’s no logic here. It’s all about concessions.

This is also all those with the most money don’t want anyone to ever own anything ever again…

Exactly. To paraphrase Caddyshack, you’ll own nothing and like it.
