AllKnowingone’s sale made the Covrprice Shaker list this week…
This preview comic marks the first official comic book appearance of anything Dungeon Crawler Carl-related and has become a highly sought-after issue for collectors in and out of the comic community. Upon release, this book hit $20 on the aftermarket and has seemingly gone up in price with each sale. This past week a raw NM copy set a new high with a sale of $950. This sale really is a true testament to how die-hard the fanbase is for this series and the characters in it.
Note how the description fails to mention its the first appearance of DCC…but refers to it as the first appearance of the “DCC World/Universe” in comics….
Oh, the irony….
I contacted Vault at the beginning of the week and requested info on the Batman Homage. They wrote me this:
"All rewards ordered through Backerkit will ship together when physical items are fulfilled for the campaign (estimate Spring 2027 but we are striving for sooner if possible). For anyone who ordered the Homage cover through the Vault website, those are shipping currently but it looks like your order was through Backerkit.

Not sure why I received an order confirmation email from Vault after I placed the original order so looks like I am waiting.
Half of batman homages won’t ship till 2027 if bought threw backerkit
I followed a link from Daniels X account. I don’t use backerkit so had no idea what I walked into. Figured I ordered the comics and they would be shipped when published. I didn’t see any disclaimers saying the comic would be sitting for a year before they would ship. Kind of odd. Oh well.
I was not selected either. Dang!
I’m just waiting for any of my DCC-related comics (that I was able to purchase) to ship. Just sitting by the dock of the bay.
