Started my re-read of the series, in anticipation of Book 8 releasing next week. Missed out on the FCBD issue.
“Goddamnit, Donut!” is just a frequent saying by Carl, as Donut frequently gets the crew into (and sometimes out of) trouble.
If you like DND at all, this is a novel for you. But, not a requirement. I never played DND, but still love the books. I just wish Matt Dinneman had a better editor. The books are long and unnecessarily complex, IMO.

he cancelled peoples order who bought multiples at original price, than raised the price and resold himself, he is now going to fb groups and acting like he is doing it to fight fomo resellers, but if that was true he would have put limit per person and not raise the price
