Maybe this is the next indy to blow up. The story sounds good, and damn, the covers are all fantastic. I know itās been talked about here, but I might have to get a couple.
Thereās a nudie polybagged cover, too, but $9.99 is too steep for me. The A cover is $3.99

I read a preview of the story, I didnāt think much of it but hopefully youāre right cause I did buy some at the last minute.
Horror is what I mostly collect and read, so itās a small gamble for me.
You all noticing how many new books are priced at $3.99? Dorc, Bleeding Hearts, White Sky all are. All Vertigo books are.
The only thing this doesnāt have going for it is itās a Vault bookā¦ but it certainly has been a weird start of the year with Dāorc and now White Sky heating up so muchā¦ Maybe since thereās just nothing else going on besides the Absolute stuff and even then, I donāt get those heating up. None of the characters being introduced areā¦ ānewā per seā¦
But I do like those covers! I really like butterfliesā¦

This bookās FOC also came before the Dāorc hype, so ordering as a new indie not influenced by recent FOMO events. That bodes well for it. I wouldnāt be surprised if it follows the path blazed by Dorc and White Sky and selling out online before release. But there has to be many more orderedā¦itāll be an interesting one to follow/observe.
Unlike Dāorc and White Sky, I did order 1 A and 1 NSFW. Just seemed those stand out from the crowd of the various covers. A has the makings of a classic cover (homage-worthy) if it takes off. FOC Pre-ordering prices at $2.50 and $7 made it worth a flyer.
