It’s not about the next issue or the actual story for most… it’s about, how can we keep selling the same product to the same buyers? Let’s just change the cover and charge more for it cause it’s now “exclusive”…

There were four issues. But they keep releasing “holiday editions” of #1 so they can keep pumping out exclusives.

Maybe this is the next indy to blow up. The story sounds good, and damn, the covers are all fantastic. I know it’s been talked about here, but I might have to get a couple.
There’s a nudie polybagged cover, too, but $9.99 is too steep for me. The A cover is $3.99

I read a preview of the story, I didn’t think much of it but hopefully you’re right cause I did buy some at the last minute.
Horror is what I mostly collect and read, so it’s a small gamble for me.
You all noticing how many new books are priced at $3.99? Dorc, Bleeding Hearts, White Sky all are. All Vertigo books are.
The only thing this doesn’t have going for it is it’s a Vault book… but it certainly has been a weird start of the year with D’orc and now White Sky heating up so much… Maybe since there’s just nothing else going on besides the Absolute stuff and even then, I don’t get those heating up. None of the characters being introduced are… “new” per se…
But I do like those covers! I really like butterflies…

This book’s FOC also came before the D’orc hype, so ordering as a new indie not influenced by recent FOMO events. That bodes well for it. I wouldn’t be surprised if it follows the path blazed by Dorc and White Sky and selling out online before release. But there has to be many more ordered…it’ll be an interesting one to follow/observe.
Unlike D’orc and White Sky, I did order 1 A and 1 NSFW. Just seemed those stand out from the crowd of the various covers. A has the makings of a classic cover (homage-worthy) if it takes off. FOC Pre-ordering prices at $2.50 and $7 made it worth a flyer.
