So I got this sealed envelope with a mystery comic in it from the Lady Death Cybernetic Desecration kickstarter last year. It has never been opened. It does have a ding to a lower corner which I do not know if that translates onto the comic inside or not. How should I try and sell this? Keep it sealed and sell it sealed? Open it to know what is exactly inside and then list it? If I sell it sealed, what do you think I should price it at?
Since there is potential for damage. Open it and list what is inside so you can avoid returns for damaged products.

Open it, there are some very low print highly sought after books in those and a sealed one doesn’t mean anything to LD collectors so you would be lucky to sell it for what you paid especially with visible damage since you don’t know if the book was hit as well. I’ve bought a few for $35 and got $200+ books out of them. Unless you are really unlucky with it 90% of the books in there will be worth the buy in price or more.

I had gotten a limited to 50 copy lady death variant about 6 months ago. Paid $5 since it was a damaged back cover. Book was selling for $300 NM. Ended up selling it for $120. Still a great profit. I love selling Lady Death because of the rabid fan base.

Well, this was what was in the envelope. Limited to 50. But not the over the top soft porn cover that Lady Death fans go crazy for. Luckily no damage to any corners. What do you think I should list this for? I tried to find completed sales on ebay and none came up in my search result.
