Make friends with you comic shop people. I let the shop owner know when there’s something interesting in her shipment. I am totally upfront with how much they are going for on eBay, she typically sells me these things for half the going rate. In this case I paid $60 for each ronin. She doesn’t keep up with these things so she’s grateful that I am giving her more than cover price. She used to have a first come first serve attitude but I had to talk to her one day and let her know she is giving too much away.

TMNT Ronin I’ll probably just sit on. I’ve been seeing shipping delays with ebay sales and I’m pretty tired. I just want 2020 to end, so I’m going to take my foot off the gas and chill through the holidays.
I was about 1 week late to Crossover and I’m playing a bit of catch up. Cates has burned me on his indie books before, so we’ll see how long I stay interested. Redneck done?
DC’s Merry blah blah blah, I heard there are first appearances, so we’ll wait and see.
I’m actually loving the Endless Winter storyline so I grabbed Flash 767 and Superman Special 1.
Spencer has got to pick it up with something interest and soon here. Sins Rising and Last Remains have been a draaaaaag.
If you’re not picking up Venom, you’re bound for some FOMO. sigh.
Finally tracked this down. Wasn’t super cheap, but it’s a 9.0+ and with a press, maybe mid 9s.

I’m going to hold it for now. I’m not mailing anything comic related unless I have to until mid-Jan. But, I’m just happy to have found a copy in good condition.
Sad but true I sold a DV3 NM copy this summer when I did those .99 cent auctions. It went for $38. I was pissed. Will never do .99 auctions again.

Which was weird cause a week prior to that, my issue with spine issues (probably a 9.4) sold for like $65… I’m just 
like that…
I ended up selling 1 of the ronin thank you variants for the same price I paid for both. Free book for me!

The way to do it!
Reminds me of when Hero Trade came out, everyone was selling on eBay for a decent amount. One shop I know tried to do theirs on FB live show to avoid the fees and even had Bad Idea retweet it, and they ended up getting a high bid of like 50 bucks for it. The owner wasn’t very happy but you win some you lose some when you play the auction game.
We’ve been hit with lots of delays on books but these finally arrived this week so picked them up this morning. LCS is still running a 50% sale on all variants till the end of the year so scored some deals here.

Found 2 more Champions #1 2nd prints, still cover price and 50% off, also found the Vote Loki #1 and New 52 in the $ bin.

I love how they got Loki’s look in the trailer to a tee from this Vote Loki book. That trailer was incredible.

Loki in the comics is kind of meh but I can totally dig the actor who portrays him in the MCU just making him so much more interesting and entertaining for sure.

Damn… Checked out the Vote Loki book on EBay and I’ll add that to the list of of stuff to be pulled out of the common long boxes.
Why is that book so hot?
Because of the trailer that dropped. Another LCS around me has a couple of these in the back issue bins, going to go through in the morning and grab a few before prices get updated.

Found these to squirrel away at my LCS today in the cheap bins. Particularly pleased with the Newsstand SW 60 in really nice shape. What looks like a fold is just camera glare; it’s preeeeeetty.
