Midtown outlet had 40% off this weekend so I picked up a bunch of copies of Dark Avengers 1 (Midtown variant) for $3 each. These should be a nice flip some day…

I heard a rumor forever ago that the, “Dark Avengers,” would be a supernatural team. Blade, Ghost Rider, maybe Morbius, etc. Dunno how much legs that has.
I’d still argue it’s the 1st appearance of that team concept, doesn’t have to be the same exact characters - kinda like Thunderbolts. I think those characters would be better as an alternate legion of monsters though.
My shop couldn’t get me regular covers for High Republic…not enough to go around…what did I get I asked… 1:25 variant!
Bought in high on a very nice Invincible 1 … looks to be worth it. Not many being sold but I paid less and it is in better condition that what has been sold…Good risk

Sometimes i look out for sixth scale … sideshow that sit around long on the shelf… and get forgotten, sometimes because of the price tag but some are hot! I don’t know how a Sideshow Skeletor exclusive was still there, but I jumped on it!

My LCS had some back issues for sale, and have been placing them on sale for the last couple of weeks.
I decided to snag Thor 2 1st print (since I only have the 4th). It looks to be in nice condition but upon getting it home I noticed a small chip on the right side edge.
Overall I’m happy with the purchase, as I paid $16.25 for it after a $10 coupon.
I’m slowly amassing a collection of all of Cates’ Marvel works.
I also snagged my copy of High Republic 1.

Had a great day digging. Visited a very cool & quaint antique & curiousties shop in a fairly small, remote town. Extremely nice owner who seemed pleased to have a customer and was excited I was after comics.
Here’s the haul! Had a great time digging and ended up paying less than $3 a book. Not only were they priced largely below cover, but he gave me a nice discount for buying so much. I promised I’d return lol!. Added to my Hawaii trip stockpile!

Is she on Oahu, or one of the good islands? 
Maui. Surprisingly when I went to Hawaii 2 years ago on vacation, apparently I was staying at a condo only about 100 yards from where she was living and didn’t even realize it (until I sent her something much later as I recognized the street when she sent me her address).

That book came out 3 years ago. Your shop holds customers pull books for 3 years?
This place is stacked, Amazing what I find when they do their clean ups… But it’s still a small mom pop type shop that has trouble keeping up lately…

At half price books (so not my LCS) this weekend, I found Crisis on Infinite Earths 8, Daredevil 25, and Avengers 684 or $2 - $2.50 a piece. Pretty stoked.
