I heard a rumor forever ago that the, āDark Avengers,ā would be a supernatural team. Blade, Ghost Rider, maybe Morbius, etc. Dunno how much legs that has.
Iād still argue itās the 1st appearance of that team concept, doesnāt have to be the same exact characters - kinda like Thunderbolts. I think those characters would be better as an alternate legion of monsters though.
My shop couldnāt get me regular covers for High Republicā¦not enough to go aroundā¦what did I get I askedā¦ 1:25 variant!

Sometimes i look out for sixth scale ā¦ sideshow that sit around long on the shelfā¦ and get forgotten, sometimes because of the price tag but some are hot! I donāt know how a Sideshow Skeletor exclusive was still there, but I jumped on it!

My LCS had some back issues for sale, and have been placing them on sale for the last couple of weeks.
I decided to snag Thor 2 1st print (since I only have the 4th). It looks to be in nice condition but upon getting it home I noticed a small chip on the right side edge.
Overall Iām happy with the purchase, as I paid $16.25 for it after a $10 coupon.
Iām slowly amassing a collection of all of Catesā Marvel works.
I also snagged my copy of High Republic 1.

Had a great day digging. Visited a very cool & quaint antique & curiousties shop in a fairly small, remote town. Extremely nice owner who seemed pleased to have a customer and was excited I was after comics.
Hereās the haul! Had a great time digging and ended up paying less than $3 a book. Not only were they priced largely below cover, but he gave me a nice discount for buying so much. I promised Iād return lol!. Added to my Hawaii trip stockpile!

Maui. Surprisingly when I went to Hawaii 2 years ago on vacation, apparently I was staying at a condo only about 100 yards from where she was living and didnāt even realize it (until I sent her something much later as I recognized the street when she sent me her address).

This place is stacked, Amazing what I find when they do their clean upsā¦ But itās still a small mom pop type shop that has trouble keeping up latelyā¦

At half price books (so not my LCS) this weekend, I found Crisis on Infinite Earths 8, Daredevil 25, and Avengers 684 or $2 - $2.50 a piece. Pretty stoked.
