Quick stop at a shop during lunch break…easy win. Shocked that Machine Man books were still there. One of them would be an easy 9.4 or better to boot.

Found these at half price books. I was surprised, they had a better selection than my local 2nd Charles. Just have to replace the boards. Will be hitting this one again.

Hit the new honey hole again. So many boxes of mostly disorganized comics…could spend days and days going through it all. Had about 90 minutes today.
The Action 544s are mid grade, but Alana convinced me they’re cool to own. Maybe some day they’ll be a good flip.
The white tigers I wasn’t sure about…know I’ve seen some talk about them at one time. They look NM and for $3/ea. Why not? I like a good Mack cover.

@D-Rog Nice haul. I love that Adventure into Fear book. It’s a fun hunt/one of those that still can be found simply because it tends to just get passed over or can be located in random spots. Filed under “A”, filed with Man thing, or even just with Marvel books.
I don’t think most folk realize its connections with the Darkhold and just pass it by.
I personally love the cover as well.
Today I snagged some of the Brubaker Vol 5 Cap run that I am trying to complete.
I own 1-14 in a trade paperback but I want the original single issues as well. My LCS is kind enough to cultivate them for me, and then allow me to snag a few each week until I finish the run. I know I sound like a broken record, but I started reading/collecting this run back in 2008 with issue 34 and it is high time I put together the entire set.
Today I picked up 1-4, & 7. 6 is understandably missing.
Issue 1 is especially nice to have as it is a somewhat cameo of Winter Soldier. Issue 4 has one of my all time favorite covers. Epting nailed it!

I swung by the shop today (kid had dance class today so instead of hanging out for an hour, went to shop cause it’s nearby). Grabbed these at cover price:

Yup, bottom of the stack. Must of been in someone’s pull that never got claimed after some time.
Gi Joe & Transformers was the best find of the day. Capt America 1 was in worse shape than I wanted but for $1.50, couldn’t pass it up. Grabbed the rest to fill in some issues. Everything was $1.25 to $2.00 except Joe.
Not sure why, but I’ve decided to start buying random Street Fighter stuff.

Had to travel 90 minutes out of town for vaccine #1. Checked out a great shop. Found a ton of speccy stuff and a billion fun $1 books. Everything was cover or $1.
I’ll post a few other dollar books on that thread. Spent about $70 for 40 books total.

This was one of my better days. All of this for $28.50.
Daredevil 1 for $5 which I’m gonna sell to help pay for this. DD 16 just to fill out my run. Avengers in the 50 cent bin. The comic gods must have wanted me to have the Skaars because I’ve been watching them for a week on Ebay and here they were for $3 each.

Picked these up for just over $50 at my new honey hole. Not many in NM, but hoping the Batman newsstand plus another sale or two will cover it.
Need to go back and look to see what other Batman’s and other 2000s moderns are newsstands.

Easter Sunday means not many shops open. I kornally don’t go to this shop as they pull everything even remotely above cover price. So left with these scraps… only got brzrkr because they were foil and the 2nd and 3rd and foils. Probably be a bust but oh well

When buying a-force, make sure you’re buying the 1st series. Not sure which one that one is. Nice cover either way.
