I Like What You Got! (LCS Finds)

Tell that to the people buying Jessica Cruz’s ringed hand first appearance. Lol.

Grabbed these while they were still cheap and at a 60% off cover made the deal sweeter

Good grab
I’m still upset at how these books arent recognized in value for the appearances and such. I’ve been tryna grab these every time I find em cheap before they hit a list involving Spiderverse 2.

Hey, I’ve made a lot of money of that ringed finger! To be transparent the ring is a very important part of a lantern’s identity.

You should read at a minimum both onslaught x-men then onslaught marvel universe. I loved both and the lead up to it. It led to the heroes reborn series which were mostly good.

That’s a lot of x-men

Yeah LCS had a whole long box full. Even though that book has the highest print run in history it still sells for over $100 in a 9.8, I picked out all the potential 9.8’s I could find. Paid $1 each for them.

I went to a local dealer in an antique mall today. He deals mainly in sport cards and action figures. He started bring in some comics the past month. Last time I was there I found some vintage Spider-Man and Wolverine comics. I picked up a CGC graded Wolverine #1 today for a $100. He had it last time but I didn’t have enough money on me.

I picked up a few more Spider-Men comics too. As I was leaving I noticed a bag under the table where the comics were. Inside I found there Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comics. A #1 5th print, #7 1st print, #3 2nd print, Leonardo #1, and a Tales of TMNT #7. I paid another $100 for these. I am going to get the first three graded at some point. A nice pickup for a Turtle fan :grinning:

Well there’s like 4 million copies

All at cover or less. I think FF#19 is a huge sleeper and am happy the masses haven’t picked up on it…yet.

I’m with you on the FF #19. Grabbed 2 this week for cover. Also grabbed an Inhuman #1 and Secret Empire Brave New World #2.

Betting on any character with a locker at the Disney ride is likely a good choice right now (and there are still some cheap books on there).

Saw a couple X-Terminator #1s in a dollar bin a few months ago and should have grabbed them.

To be honest, nobody gave a crap about Onome until she was mentioned in the Spider-man ride. I think it will take ALOT more than a tie-in comic to see valuable gains in FF #19.

We live in the new world of FOMO + 1st App Chasers… but yeah, nobody gave a crap then but now, that might change. Cheap gambling though if you find them for dirt cheap in the back bins…

Hey, I picked up 2 copies yesterday!!

At $2.99, it’s a better gamble than these $4.99 and up new releases coming out these days…

I’ve been collecting first apps since the 80s. That’s nothing new (and it’s been an incredibly smart move).

Well, we all did but it seems like nowadays it’s on crack… Too much FOMO surrounded by first appearances.

I forgot to post this one…I already had a copy as I’m a big Punisher fan, but it was cheap and a perfect copy.
Aside from the recent attention to it (not even sure why, doesn’t matter)…I wanted to look through it again

  1. It has a story, art by Jim Lee.
  2. It has a back up, fantasy story that has zero to do with Punisher or Moon Knight but is drawn by Mark Bagley. Book is from 1989 and while not his first Marvel or comic work, it is definitely very early in his career.
Just thought it was cool. One of the benefits to actually reading and going through a comic lol.
