Asked if the had anything new that came in that was priced but not put out. Owner tossed a short box on the counter. Picked up a few but this was the highlight. $8 and couldn’t believe he didn’t look it up first.
White Tiger cover and 1st full Jack of Hearts. Even low grades are a $200+ ask on eBay
super nice score. jack of hearts just recently came on my radar and i was like, “hmm i should probably pick up his 1st. kinda random character, im sure it’s still cheap.”
nope. many others’ radars are far sharper than mine apparently.
Nothing major, but nabbed this Justice League 2 which is the first appearance of the Ultraviolet Lantern Corps for less than cover.
my lcs has been giving a lot of love to my want list lately 
got a nice mid(ish)-grade marvel tales #2 yesterday and discovered something odd: it has a blank inside cover, a blank back cover, a blank inside back cover, no third party ads, and no indicia. anybody ever come across a comic like this before or know why it was printed this way? or if other reprints/compilations from this period were printed similarly?
Some issues of Amazing Spider-man annual #1 is the same way, I’m not 100% sure but I believe it has something to do with Canadian distribution. I might be wrong tho.
So my LCS has a 4 for $20 variant sale going on right now. I snagged these as I felt they offered the best bang for the buck.

Not a bad haul in addition to my regular pulls. Also, this sale made ASM 93 under cover price.

I haven’t any clue about PHX comic shops, but if there isn’t one named Phoenix Force that is giant missed opportunity.
Haven’t been to a comic store in a while, away for work and just sitting in the hotel today and my wife reminded me to check for comic shops in the area, glad she did.

I used to get, “why are you wasting money on comics?” My reply was always “I could take up crack or heroin if you prefer.”
I’d just reply with… “why you wasting your time asking what others are doing with their money?”
That was also part of my rebuttal. I had so much “me money” and it was always a thing with her. It’s like I could be doing much worse with my money. Back then I wasn’t spending much either, maybe $100 monthly.
I wasted my money on these $4 ea to be exact.
Why wasted?
Because I could have donated that $16 to solving world hunger.
But if I was a really cool dude I would sell these and donate the funds to solving world hunger.
Too bad I’m a jerk though.
World hunger is no longer the popular problem to solve. You gotta fix world horniness. So many horny people in need!
