Lol. That was good!

Did the ants get inside the bag? It was the comic spares?

I’ve seen alot of packages of various damage, CGC slabs with various things. But this takes the cake. I can’t even say anything else. I really can’t.

That’s just effing wild! Maybe he includes free ants with all orders?!

Ok so it looks like it was sent in a Gemini mailer. Obviously it wasn’t like that with the ants when he packaged it. It looks like he didn’t seal the top with tape. Fwiw I send my comics in a Gemini and I always seal the top with tape all around. The comic is open to the elements otherwise and if it rains the comic could get wet. It’s a bit of extra work but I want my packages to arrive at It’s destination pristine.

There’s a possibility the mailer was sitting at a filthy delivery truck and the ants got in the package. I have gotten a package from Chapters Bookstore ( Canada’s equivalent of Barnes and Noble) and when I opened the package there was a live earwig running around inside the package. Absolutely disgusting and horrifying when opening up the package.

PSA always seal the top and bottom of the Gemini mailer with tape. All kinds of nasty can get in.

Someone may have ordered live ants (like for an ant farm - my son had one and you send away for them) and the container was not sealed, or maybe the heat wave played a part in damaging a seal…

It’s possible. All those eggs is bizarre.

The thank you note is enough for me to not give a negative review

The seller has already given me a full refund, and stated that he doesn’t have any kind of any problem at home…who knows. But this was a wild delivery, the mailman gave it to me in a white USPS box saying I can keep it or return the box, but that there’s a lot of ants in the package and even asked if I ordered ants…lol

There was random ants crawling out of it, but once I got the Gemini open it was filled like the picture. Maybe someone else did order ants and they got loose and into my package, but I’m just surprised USPS did actually deliver it and not just toss it. Crazy day.

Oh I also had to just toss the entire thing as the ants even made it inside of the bag and were crawling all over the comic. Luckily it was just a $1 purchase ($7 in total) and not a big book.

He paid a $1. It’d have to contain toxins or explosives for me to give negative feedback.

But I think I’d sooner alert the authorities before giving a bad review .

That ain’t right,…

“Uh, sir…you can keep it or return the box, but there’s like something ticking inside and it’s setting off our Geiger counters something crazy…did you order a bomb or something…”

Yeah, I wouldn’t fault the seller here. Those ants clearly made this package their home after shipping more than likely.
