Over the moon with this pick-up. Still a bit stunned I won it (and thankful to the seller who was great).
These are so darned hard to find. Pretty much the whole Bruce Timm cover run in one fell swoop!. For those not familiar these are pulps which were produced in the 90’s. I’d have been happy regardless, but they are also in beautiful condition. I love Bruce Tim’s work & honestly never thought I’d have a shot of owning them all. These will be a mainstay of my collection.

Got Creepy #29 for the Vampirella ad which was sold when the first Vampirella book came out. It was only $5 so I grabbed it. I finally got 1st app of Buffy in a 9.2 for $35. The rest are tentacle books to add to my tentacle portfolio.

There’s so much good stuff in those Dark Horse Presents (initial series and later series) that folks forget about.
Resident Alien 1st app is in that title as well (which is now approaching Season 4)

This is fantastic! Thank you sharing. It’s the sort of refreshing thing that seriously makes me take a second to reflect on why this hobby is so great.
I’m going to guess that personally hunting & finding these tentacle issues is the point & fun of of it, but if there is anything you ever are specifically having trouble finding please let us know. Hell, I half want to start looking for you just for fun too so I can send them to you!!!

I personally love this. I like shark covers and will grab any comic that has a cover with sharks on it. It’s cool that other people focus on niche covers. I know people collect homages, or infinity covers, or covers with robots, or atomic bombs. Just makes it fun.

The Warlord of Mars is my favourite Jusko cover, it took a good few years for me to track down the Dynamic Forces version of that cover, such a hard book to find that barely ever pops up.

Even the regular version isn’t easy to find. It’s not an expensive book, but I waited months for one to pop up. I imagine the DF version would cost a crazy amount now.
Haven’t ever looked to see what it goes for, it took so long to find one once I had it that was it never looked again 
I got it in a bundle with the normal cover for $15 a couple years back but never see people post it in pick up posts/videos.
Just got this in from a Kickstarter. It is surprisingly a really good read. I was hoping to get a metal cover in the mystery envelope, but a 1 out of 10 is not to bad.
