Not at all. He drew energy from every existing planet in the universe, when there wasn’t much life, to use against knull and blasted him away. The remaining energy was then used as the seeds of life to create life in the universe as we know it.
I know who the God of Light is…it’s me. I know because when I fart it’s like a strobe light. Number twos the same but it starts playing music as well. Godly music.

If Silver Surfer is the God Of Light, then how do we explain his in-actions in Thor #1 when Galactus showed up? From a story standpoint, you can make the connections to fit what you think is going to happen but it makes no sense in his current role (at least my opinion)… unless he was only the God of Light during the bang and now is just the FallenOne… whatever he calls himself these days…
I just don’t think Cates is going this direction with Silver Surfer. Maybe but I think he’s gonna retcon another character or something…
SS is more concerned with knull. Plus galactus used thor as herald to warn the inhabitants of the planets galactus. Plus, why would SS take action when Cates is saving the reveal for a later date. You know Cates likes to drag things out. Most of the evidence seems to support this theory, so as a scientist, I choose to follow the evidence.

Also no King in Black Silver Surfer $1 reprints is a pretty big clue it’s not Silver Surfer.

Yeah, I just don’t think SS as God of Light is gonna happen… that’s just too easy or obvious if that’s Cates plans.

Which book would they reprint? Usually $1 reprints are at least 5 years old…I think many of the SS books are still on shelves!
But yes, $1 reprints are a clue as to what stories and characters are relevant in forthcoming stories…

I hope you guys if own up to it if it turns out to be true. I’m just going by the evidence we have available, not just opinion.
Did you read avengers 29 where he’s clearly controlling light while he’s still black. He used everything he had to blast knull away and create life in the universe. But, apparently that’s not good enough to be the GOL.

Keep in mind, part of the fun of “spec” is offering it up and then the back and forth arguing over it. I feel like you may be getting offended if others in the forums don’t necessarily agree or push back.
It’s just part of the game to be honest. I’ve had plenty of spec that has gone both ways for me. Try not to take others not agreeing personal or anything.
It will be fun to see how it plays out…you certainly have supplied the groundwork and basis for your ideas and spec!! I enjoy thinking about it.

Silver Surfer lost against the Golden Racer he is no god if he can’t beat an Elder of the Universe. Franklin Richards Avatar’s Fantastic Four #245 1st appearance has sold 100+ copies the last month and has a $1 king in black reprint. He’s also the most powerful being in the Marvel universe some would even theorize he is the creator of the Marvel Universe. Oh and he annihilates people with light and can time travel.

Another good one I’ve heard recently, with all the Phoenix force variants and coming Phoenix force Avengers storyline. Maybe a Phoenix Force Megazord made up of the different characters containing the Phoenix force.
Certainly not offended. Just feel like you can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make him drink. It’s not logical to be dismissive without evidence to back it up.
All my evidence was about 100 posts up in this topic from a month ago. Had you read it you probably wouldn’t be as enthusiastic about Silver Surfer Black.
You’re all wrong. Cates will just write himself in a the God of light… He’ll call himself the God Country of Light.
