I picked up one of the NSFW Bug Wars. I opened the bag, I like the cover too much to sell my only one. I’m not even into butterfly-women or such. Babs Tarr just draws erotic stuff well.
There were 95 copies at collector cave as of last night.
All gone now. I wonder if they just too the listing down or if someone bought a huge chunk.
I’m thinking they took it down because they typically would have it show up as “sold out.” I don’t see that.
Either way, they’ll be showing up on eBay soon enough.

I would bet that listing was not accurate. I’ve never heard of that shop. They have bigger volume than MyComicShop? Doubt it.
NY Collector Cave has been around. I could see them ordering 100 Caps to get the 1:100 ratio.
There wasn’t even a 1:100 and there’s 4 total open order covers. No wise shop (one that has been around a while) is chasing Marvel ratios anyways.
Fair enough. I don’t disagree it wasn’t wise, but they may just have enough business being in the NYC area to be ordering that high anyway.
Based on their quantities elsewhere, doesn’t seem like they stock their online site much even if they have a lot of in store sales.
They have 100 of the main cover, 100 of the Ross timeless variant and 99 copies of the muppets variant. They seem to cap off their qty at 100.
I believe the rival midtown in what they carry for new books in store. Although I’ve never been in their shop.
Interesting. I get the same results now. It was not crossing out the qty before when I went to check out for the A and Ross covers.
I like how he waited until now to mentioned the free book.

The amount of “1st preview” USM and Ultimate Wolverine I have will make me never waste time on this low-level spec. It’s going to be fire material this fall.

Not a fan of pushing the previews type books which he fairly consistently does.
It’s an attempt to make something out of nothing imo.
