Well, I’ve seen a few YouTube videos taking about how Majors has a clause in his contract that only he can play Kang. Quantimanium also did poorly for Marvel standards.
The re-written ending to Loki which basically downplayed Kang as an afterthought was the writing on the wall for me. Marvel is just waiting for the other shoe to fall so they can repurpose Kang Dynasty into something else. Maybe not even use the character again.
Majors is just making the decision easier for them…seems a inevitable at this point…they’re just dragging their feet so they don’t get as much backlash, perhaps.

They probably just want to have a full plan in place before they let him go. Maybe use someone like Annihilus to tie into the quantum realm. With the FF and X-Men coming on board there are plenty of other villains to be used.

What was the original ending to Loki before the rewrite?
Hasn’t been released. Just that the person who wrote the script for the second to last episode said it was a complete rewrite.

Well, there goes Kang. I hope everyone didn’t get stuck worth too much long term Kang spec. I didn’t go too deep on him, thankfully and everything I did get was when it was still cheap. Admittedly I did buy Avengers #8 but that was for the pc and I got it when rumors first started, so it was pretty cheap as well.

Wow. How are they going to write around this? Everything was “Kang is coming” to build up the big multiverse of hims (is that a word?, lol) that were going to show up.

Never liked Kang in the comics to begin with. I’m fine with never seeing the character again.
