There are a few different conversations around Mark Spears covers in different threads so I thought it might be worthy to start a dedicated thread going forward.

He is getting a bunch more work. Don’t forget to check out the list of early works I did including his first published work.
Where the hell are all the Spears’ Thundercats Apex on the secondary market? None really on eBay…
Diamond hasn’t shipped my order so I think most shops haven’t received them yet. I emailed them this morning.
That Green Hornet/Miss Fury has Alex Ross vibes about it
She’s also packing a moose knuckle…
His medium certainly has Alex Ross vibes to them all for me… I loved Alex Ross… funny how Mark’s work is taking off in popularity but it’s not necessarily new, just a new artist coming to the forefront.
I’m going to stick to Monsters, unfortunately, I missed the first Kickstarter. Not the current one though!
I don’t want to alarm anyone…but it does seem like this book is becoming quite hard to find.
MCS sold out (all spears covers) Midtown sold out (all covers as well).
Some have sort of popped up in some shops online that don’t post until they have copies in hand…but not too many.
Just bought 2 of the 1:15 virgins on eBay. Looked like the seller had more than 10 copies available then immediately took the listing down…
Everybody panic despite being told not to do so!
Must be a CHU fan.
No one has these covers available. I was able to get three from online shops but that’s all I can find.
Are shops/retailers still waiting on Diamond for these?
How is he so prolific? Has he been stockpiling Monsters covers for a while, or is he that fast that he can use up so many variants per issue when he’s also doing covers for DC and Todd McFarlane?
All these covers and interiors were already done for his Kickstarter and cards from like 2 years ago. Starting with issue 9, he’ll be doing all new stuff.
I am, I’ve gotten two replies from Diamond both saying they are still looking into where they are.
My Thundercats books are finally coming on Wednesday along with a bunch of other books that should have shipped before. Diamond keeps screwing up, but unfortunately some titles are only available through Diamond and not on PRH or Lunar so we’re stuck until those titles leave like the others have.
