I just went back to Marks Kickstarter and “backed” some more books. There’s one cover that still has quite a few available that I think will be sought after once it gets out there. Given the fact there will only be 200 printed of these specific covers, should be a no brainer to snag a few, especially for the eventual flip.
This is the first comic kickstarter I’ve backed. He said the comics won’t be available until September, is that normal?

Yes, that’s very normal; however, in his most recent post, he says he’s confident they’ll be in our hands prior to September. I wouldn’t hold my breath though.

Took me 2.5 years to get my Joe Jusko Kickstarter book of Mavel Masterpieces.
The funny part is, I got his painting almost immediately. The book took 2.5 years.

Not sure if my image posting worked, but got a couple of these today. This is the first magazine cover that Mark Spears did. He confirmed it last week on a YouTube stream. There are some left on eBay from one seller. I snagged two. Were not shipped in the best manner and had some dings, but I think the dings happened before being shipped. Still a nice book to have. Another one of Spears early published works that’s going to be hard to find once the last few copies are sold on the Bay.
5 copies here $25 plus shipping ea.

I didn’t, but Golden Apple was so kind to point that out and resist a return request. Since clearly they know and I didn’t know.

Yeah. I saw the prices. I have sold enough to break even so even if I get a dollar for them I am ok. But prices dropped after the Mark Spears interview.
Got mine as well. Glad we all got them.
Well, the term “near” is so subjective… The moon is “near” earth compared to Jupiter… yet it’s average distance from earth is 238,855 miles. With that said, every comic, even crumpled up comics in grade 0.5 are “near” mint…
