Milk still has some shelf life. Sold 5 mark spears related books for ~$240 in the last 24 hours. Only in about $90 on those books. Woohoo
That aint no regular milk.
That is pure, fresh, cold, 100% Chocolate Milk with Hersheys syrup, blended!
Update…2 more MS for an additional $36. Heads up as well - as Anthony pointed out a few days ago, the Spawn issue is gaining value
Sold my Spawn 356 today. Got it at the shop when the group discussed it and I saw it sitting there beckoning me to buy it.
I think it can I think it can I think it can I think it can…
King Spawn #20 (first open order Spears cover) is on the CovrPrice Weekly Movers list (tracking 21 copies sold this week) but the prices hasn’t moved much at all.
For what it’s worth, Gunslinger Spawn #18, ROTLD #1, Spawn #356, and Spawn #355 are all on the list as well.
I prefer the old Don Cheadle version of Captain Planet…
For anyone who hasn’t seen it, google it. Worth your time.
Just picked up additional copies of several
Of these online. Was able to find 9 more copies of spawn 356. Prices seem to be moving up and up.
I wouldn’t mess with THAT version of Captain Planet.
He’s scary lookin
you been riding his train longer and harder than most. I’d guess you’d be the last one off.
yes - you buy a lot of Spears, but can you buy them as fast as they are being made? nope. These are replacing the 2nd print 1:25 variant and the other ‘so hot right now’ speak that plagues the comic hobby. While we need love for the new stuff, we need to be honest with ourselves as well - these were always temporary. .
Most comic sales are temporary. Look at the Covrprice 4 year look back that they put out. The hot flips of the month all end up losers in four years time. That’s why I never chase the hot new books other than for flipping. I like quick cheap money. I am not holding on to a lot of books that come off as hot unless I really like the books. You have to know going in it’s a game of musical chairs. Eventually most of the players have the chair pulled out from under them.
You are exactly right. I buy a lot of spears, and while I can, I flip them. I just have to gauge the interest level. So far, several of us have been super successful with it. No reason to be so negative towards those of is that have found the formula. At some point it will end, and we’ll need to hop on the next train.
Also, isn’t this kind of the point of the whole site? Oh well.
Spawn 356 listings up to around $20 + shipping on eBay. If these prices are legit and hold, there are flippable copies available for cover on mcs.

I love a good flip so grabbed more to include with the ones I already have.
15 years into this flipping game and it STILL astonishes me that comic buyers will purchase off Ebay for exponential amounts instead of doing a simple search on … like… y’know… the 1st alternative place one could look - Mycomicshop.
It is, in some ways, quite pathetic.
A friend of mine asked me about that, he said why would people buy from you as opposed to going into a comic shop or buying online. My answer is quite simple, laziness.
Definitely laziness.
But I also think … nahhh… not going to say it
