MCU phase 6

I dont really get why theyd switch to doom, feels like they can just recast Kang and dont even need to explain it

Maybe Moon Knight will be in one of the movies and state that Kang disappeared for some reason and leave it at that.

Ha. Great reference.

It’s reported that Steven Yeun is playing Sentry in Thunderbolts movie. Robert Kirkman dropped to news in an article comparing his role as Invincible to his new role as Sentry. I’ll try to find a link.

Note: Kang and all his variants died on the way back to their timelines.

Looks like Henry Cavill is going to be Cyclops in the MCU…

That’s not good for the brain. Cyclops already left the MCU and got a job taking care of Lois Lane and Superboy before anyone ever heard of Henry Cavill.

Keep an eye on this book…it might take off… :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: :joy:

Flash in the pan. By midpoint all the characters are different.

Disney needs to sell/spin off Marvel … they have ruined Marvel. I guarantee Marvel creativity/quality goes up if this happens.

I mean, I don’t know if Marvel needs to be risk averse. If they didn’t take risks we would’ve never gotten the Guardians of the Galaxy flick. I think part of it is saturating the market with too much stuff and a lot of it not being particularly amazing.

It’s not the subject matter, it’s the writers, directors and producers who have no business doing comic book flicks. Get people who know the medium and have a passion for it. Good things will follow. Keep doing what has failed the past five years and things will just get worse.

There is a video floating around with the creators of many of the Marvel movies saying they never read the comic or knew anything about the characters. Marvel let them have free rein to do whatever they wanted.

Really feels like the make it or break it with regards to the future of the MCU is going to end up with Blade. It’s an incredible opportunity to do things correctly while moving towards a whole new world of characters/ideas/narratives. Horror/mystery/suspense is popular. I feel like the Halloween Werewolf by Night show was very well received (more than anything else by far). They need to do their homework, talk to fans, and get it right.

Will be interesting to see how things play out.
