Well here is a weird one.
I had a Gen 13 Bootleg issue listed on Mercari
Mercari pulled it because it is not an authentic item.
Why? The title says bootleg….
For reference here is my eBay cross listing
“Bootleg,” out of context confused the algorithm!
Is it an actual “ bootleg”…? Or is that just what the publisher called it?
Because by definition a “true” bootleg (unauthorized copy) is not authentic.
It’s the title of the comic series from the publisher.
Yeah, this is just the algorithm kicking something back that was flagged.
It’s not like Mercari has people double checking this stuff…they’re going to default to “bad listing” and error on the side of caution.
Good luck fighting it. Not sure a human will be on the other end to listen to common sense and reason…
