Itās also funny how I feel like the risk of buying a few more Dorcs is significantly lower because the cover price is only $3.99. If it was $4.99 or $5.99, Iād be more nervous.

I need to list crisis 1-8 books. Itās been an ok anthologyā¦different for sureā¦but thinking Iām going to cash out. Iāll keep 1 copy of 1A just in case it turns into the next Ice Cream Manā¦I may even grab issue 9 to readā¦But would rather have the cash.

I donāt think of ComicHub shops as a honey hole. 9/10 times lately it screws me overā¦either the order doesnāt go through or the shop cancels/alters my order.
Plus half the stores are pick-up only. The other half charge $8+ shipping now.
Then thereās the one shop that banned me because I orders the same book twiceā¦which I didnt (it was a glitch that occurred during checkout and it got submitted twice). They donāt return my calls or emails. Iāve been ordering/picking up books there for years too. After they would not respond I created a new username under a different emailā¦ordered one book and they cancelled it/banned that account too.
They havenāt had a hot book for several months anywayā¦.but the convenience of having books held and not paying shipping was nice.
My point isā¦unless you have one of the comic hub shops local to pick up booksā¦itās pricey and a PITA sometimes because the program they use is antiquated and prone to errors.

I order from one store that I can get hot books 8/10 times. It is a comic hub store. Localish but in DC so I wont drive to it.
Will pay the $8 for shipping if I am getting several books.
Just did a $30 order from them the other day and sold the stuff for close to $90 so wont complain about the $8 shipping.

I swung by my LCS this afternoon and they had 4 copies of DāOrc 1. I bought the NM one but the others looked to be VF/NM so I chickened out on those. Listed my cover A for $40 and it sold in an hour. Maybe I should have held for a while. Oh well, profit is profit. I found two more Superman 34 cover Eās. They looked like 9.2ās so I priced one $5 lower than the NM ones I sold. It too sold within an hour. Tax return money is here!!! Time to sell stuff.

I was critical of flipping but discussed how I was coming around, and you helped me become an even bigger fan of it. The crossover posts were fun. We did a cute literary thing where I opened with, āIām David Bitterbaum and I used to think comic speculation was the devil,ā while Tony opened his post with, āIām Anthony/Tony and Iām the devil.ā Weāre funny.

Iāve sold 4 of my 5 copies of Dorc. Last one at $40+ship. I have a 6th copy, but will probably hold that unless it spikes higher than $40.
Hope it holds as I wait a week for my copies to show
