Yeah. It’s okay I’d read issue 2.
I was at a small comic show this weekend. None of the retailers ordered them. Most of the people there didn’t know about the book being hot. I was at a shop that was having a big sale and the books were just sitting on the shelf. Got 1 regular 2 b and 2 c. Wiped them out while people were walking right past them. Meanwhile the buyers were supposedly “big time players online”!

I took that out of my foc order before hitting submit 
Early reviews said it was ok but nothing amazing. Premise looked pretty cool but figured I’d just grab one during my lcs trip.
Congrats to everyone getting paid, though, and good call by @D-Rog for putting on his foc list.
Nothing like Dungeon Crawler Carl imo. DCC has a cult like following which may have contributed to the fomo. I was really excited for this book, but after reading it not so much. It’s political, without being political, it that makes sense lol. Felt preachy to me. DCC much better.
Yeah…my first copy arrived today. It’s NM, but the paper quality is total crap…so now I’m like “Do I wait to see if my second copy is better, or start cashing out now and hope for the best that other copies will be NM or better…?”

I just looked and since 2 pm EST today it looks like sales are up another $20. Looks like the last few are 69.99-75. This is nuts.

The FOMO on eBay over D’orc is kind of funny. It’s like “we didn’t have an Absolute issue to FOMO over this week so we had to pick SOMETHING!” Good grief. People are freaking out because it went to a second printing. That’s about it. I sold a copy. The paper quality is crap. I only bought the NM one to flip; the other three copies at my LCS had multiple spine ticks and a color rub near the upper left at almost the same spot on all of them. I guess I should have bought those and just priced them lower than NM ones, but I didn’t want to get stuck with them. I was in the camp thinking this would fizzle out fast so flip quick. I was wrong. Prices will go up until I guess the next Absolute Batman issue comes out, lol.

This is what concerns me…I could tell from my single copy this paper is prone to defects…
Yeah, and people on eBay are kind of getting difficult to deal with this year so I was afraid of getting screwed with a return on a dinged up copy. I obviously would have taken pictures and pointed it out, but people still work the system and eBay sides with them if they claim the item was not as described. Really hard to fight that one sometimes and I just don’t have the energy for non-smooth sales right now.
Every year gets worse. Everyone wants two-day shipping and a response within seconds to a question. I ain’t Amazon Prime.

maybe wait a day or 2 but turn $4 into 60-80 and don’t look back, it’s not even that great from what we’re hearing
i admit naivety, i know nothing about DCC but certainly heard about it’s following from a friend who does sound engineering on audio books. I know there is a comic getting published. I would pivot there too and look for it, when it comes out.

Was able to secure one copy of D’Orc today from my local comic shop that set one aside for me last week. Read it and while it was okay, not something I can’t live without. Put it up for $79.99 and it sold in under 30 minutes.
Also started putting out some of my Absolute Batman doubles for sale. Would rather take the money now as I gotta think it’s at the top end of value right now. Put up copy of #4 2nd print retailer incentive 1:25 that very hard to locate and sold it for $199.99.
Between Assorted Crisis Events, Absolute Batman, and now D’Orc this has been a great 2 months for spec buying and selling.
