That’s not the way not Avatar book that seems to command a decent aftermarket price.
Not a lot of sales…but even VF/NM copies seem to sell for $20+.

Man. I had 13 orders between May 1 and May 6. Zip since. Anyone else seeing the summer sales cool down kicking in yet?
I had one yesterday. Some trickles here and there though. Have a $159 balance on Mercari I am going to have to tap soon.
I’ve sold about 20 books this month total (some combined orders).
Sales on 8 of the first 10 days. Pretty consistent, despite not having added much new stock.
I had new stock from Free Comic Book day that Ii purchased. Listed it all, sold most of it. I am sitting in a spot where sales are dwindling, but older things are moving from time to time. I normally keep 200+ listings on eBay and at 170 currently

After 10 years of increasing sales pretty much year over year, 2026 has been a total disaster for my comic sales. Can’t find any “hot” books locally and finding it more difficult to find them online. It’s a bummer.
eBay sales have been around average, not every day but a few here and there and most around $20. I’m not much of a “hot” book seller, 90% of my stuff is pre-2020s so my buying audience might not be the same as the Wednesday warriors chasing this week’s FOMO.
Side note…recently sold the 2018 Xena run from Dynamite (10 issues, A covers) for $70. There was another 6 issue Dynamite run that made a decent flip too, maybe keep an eye out for those more recent Xena books in the cheap boxes, she still has fans out there.

Anyone come across a copy yesterday? These are the only three copies on eBay at the moment.
Not sure if NM copies showed up on MCS, or what the price was.

Barbaric prices seem to be increasing after the announcement, still a few bargains to be had as people are sleeping on the news.
I did randomly find one locally. Not sure what to list it at, or hold it as spec. Currently watching the auctions.
Read the news and realized I should bump the price up a little on the set I had on eBay because why not? Sold before I had the chance to get on eBay haha. Happy with the $45 sale tho considering I paid less than cover for the books years ago.
If I would have seen it, I’d have bought it. Always wanted that book.
