Saw the alert, so I went searching. My online honey hole had 10 left. Scooped em all. Can’t find any option news though, just figured grabbing them for cover price had to make sense at this point.

We Live #5 just keeps on trucking along. I thought it would slow down or sort of lose the limelight, but it has very quietly continued the ascent. Definitely may be a book to buy in on now if you haven’t despite the price. Same with the whole series honestly.

1st print for issues 2, 3, 4 and later prints for 1 and 5; not a bad price.

Agreed! If you missed out or want another set, this looks like a good way to grab it.
FYI - it’s not called out in the copy, but it looks like Issue 1 is the 4th print, and issue 5 is the 3rd print. @faele - You might want to add that copy in just so you don’t end up with cranky people thinking it’s all first prints.

I grabbed vol 1 of We Live to introduce my wife to the story and loan out, kids are based on real people. Some other cool details included.

It’s going to bump again when the series returns this fall We Live: Era of the Palladions. Hang on tight to these and don’t sell just yet.
The prices keep climbing and it’s kinda tempting, even reprints going up in price too.

@SpicyWasabi That book looked very intriguing. Please let me know actually. There will be zero shot of me finding it at my area shops, but if it’s good I’m willing to buy a copy off of ebay if not too crazy. I missed out on seeing/being aware of it.
I’ve always been a fan of the whole Peter Pan story. A departed relative of mine was lead animator for the Disney classic (and other films as well).
Just read it, so far so good. Issue 1 is a setup issue, shows how Winter got there, her backstory and she’s on the run. Introduces some new characters.
First thing I noticed was how beautiful the presentation of the comic was. Beautiful thick glossy pages and a nice painted cover. Really great job there by Heavy Metal.
Will definitely stick with this, had told my shop to put this series on my pull. If you like Peter Pan it’s definitely worth getting, it’s very dark though.

@SpicyWasabi Thank you for the input! I had ebay bucks to spare so I just ordered one off ebay. Obviously paid more than I should, but I am pretty in tune with what shops order around here and that won’t be on racks here.
