Never Never #1 …$3.99 still
Noticed today that Astonishing X-Men (2004) has all but disappeared from eBay. I’ve been stockpiling copies since I saw the AAPI variant and her getting a main team push. With a low online supply, this book is one “Spec List” from being through the roof when a demand crunch hits.
Order 5 or more though unless you want just a reader copy. They’ll send with poor or no protection. But they do ship out pretty fast.
Still available at Diamond if anyone wants some copies for cover just let me know (in a PM).
Yes, they ship horribly. I ordered 5 copies of a comic a couple months ago and all 5 arrived wrecked
Check out Mycomicshop it’s still there.
Lesson learned from here on out, don’t buy directly from publishers.
(But hopefully my Basilisk 1s were bagged and boarded)
I will give you an exception in case you ever want to buy direct…
Mad Cave
I pre-ordered Nottingham 1-3 through their direct site and the books arrived in flawless condition, bagged and boarded. May even be a 9.9 in there, they’re so pristine.
Behemoth was also money with You Promised Me Darkness as well. Bagged boarded, well packed.
Basilisk are bag and boarded and in a mailer not quite a Gemini but it worked to get me my copies safely.
Never Never the new Nottingham?
Was it the same thin cardboard they used in Brzrkr/MTG? Or a mailer intended for comic book but just not a Gemini?
Awesome. I wonder if Black mask studios does the same. I recently ordered all their BLACK issues.
It’s a mailer that seals it’s better than the tfaw floppy mailers for sure but not quite a Gemini.
Nice House on the Lake just keeps moving and slowly climbing. The fact that the 2nd issue was also very good (imo anyway) has helped. Release of the 2nd also creating more demand. I think the majority of us on here likely went heavy to begin with, but if anyone passed, may behoove you to move on a copy now rather than later.
I have received Basilisk variant from Boom Studios. About month ago I’ve received damaged Brzrkr so I have sent them an email and they have said that they will definitely improve the way they pack and ship orders. So I’m happy to tell you guys that they have added “Do not bend” sticker and now they bag and board their comic books. Same thin carboard envelope, So now I have two damaged comic books. Great stuff. 1/10.
This was what im talking about. That thin cardboard they used in my MTG. My copies had major spine rubs and dinged up corners since there were no bags and boards. Now my worry lies on it getting beat up during transit.
