What if Magic is going up in price. It’s if she became the sorcerer supreme. I’m guessing because of the death of dr strange? Putting her in the next strange movie would be a good way to introduce her but that’s just wishful thinking.

I’m not speccin on anyone taking the title up especially with Dr Strange having a movie out soon. Remember that issue of Black Cat where she got magic powers or was like a sorcerer and it was immediately gone next issue

No, I don’t. Which proves your point.

Wow, yeah thats messed up.

“Don’t miss out on an amazing chance to own an affordable facsimile version of a classic!” - says it right in the middle of all those words.

I hate to see this. It’s sad that there are people who can’t be bothered to learn even the slightest about what they’re buying. Makes me wonder if any of these purchases stay final, or if any buyers wise up and return the book.

Sellers have 100% positive feedback!

It has to be new collectors that don’t know too much. I purchased a Wolverine for $5.00 at a antique mall that was mixed in with other vintage comics. I got so excited that I found some “Gold” that I really didn’t notice it was a facsimile. If it was the same comic at $50.00 I would have inspected closely before purchasing and would have noticed that.

Oh I agree 100%.
It is new collectors with very high probability.
And therein lies the issue - these sellers are purposely withholding important information in either the title field or the description field. At best they are loosely stating important information in the description field.
It is purposeful & and it is deceitful. It is intended for the new collector audience to have them bid up to extraordinary numbers.
At a high level, I do believe buyers are responsible for doing homework in any avenue of purchases - certainly in the collectible market. But purposely withholding content in areas such as the title field where it stands out would be proper. The sellers know they’re doing this and they know why they’re doing it, and that’s what bugs me.

I’ve seen quite a few where they don’t disclose it period. If it’s buy it now they usually price them at about 50% off what the real books go for. That way they think they’re getting a great deal so they buy it before double checking because of Fomo.

Its hard to believe buyers can be this uninformed.

It’s sorta like the 1 in several million that still send money to the Nigerian King who is in desperate need of $5000 for medical care. They’re out there

This is why I don’t ask for comics as gifts coming from those with comic inexperience…

These listings both list the publication date as 2021 in the details. If you’re buying something and not looking at everything on the ad, it’s gotta be on you.

The book also looks brand new and flawless. These buyers are idiots and I just can’t feel bad. I wouldn’t advertise anything like that, but it’s 2021, man. Buyer beware.

We know this, but the grandpa/grandma who wants to buy Timmy a fancy comic for his 10th birthday and knows he talks all the time about, “That Moon Knight,” fellow will easily be fooled. It sucks.
