Thanks for the write-up on the main page Anthony. I was able to secure 2 1:25s because of it. :money_mouth_face:

I should’ve bought that, “Deadpool: Black, White, & Blood,” 1:25 of issue 4 when I had the chance. Oh well.

That’s right about the same time I bought mine. Four or five bucks! I always enjoyed Groo so I picked up a second one for twelve dollars a couple years later.

Nice. I got several copies myself and selling one pod for everything else.

My copy arrived in the mail today, It took 6 days

That’s faster than most USPS Priority Mail I get. It is definitely the fastest package I have ever received from China or Japan.

Thanks @Alana for the heads up!!!, appreciate it :+1:t2:

I remember seeing that on Threes Company.

A first appearance can not be argued.

A character either appears, or they don’t. Hulk 180 is the first time we see Wolverine in the story of a comic book. This can not be argued, as it is a fact. This community (and others) are simply arguing about what connotations should be lumped together with the appearances of characters. (1st cameo vs 1st Full, and so on). And as Poyo said, these arbitrary connotations that get applied to any given book have no bearing on the actual demand, or supply, imo.

Edit* the arbitrary connotations that are generally accepted in the community do have some bearing on demand. But, that bearing is not 100% inclusive among the comic collecting community.

Then there is “Hulk 180 is wolverine’s first appearance so its the book I own”.

No skin the game for me since I dont own Hulk 180 or 181.

You can say whatever you want about Hulk 180, #181 will always be worth far, far more.

So Foom #2 it is!!

Yep. It won’t make 181 worth any less.

People conflate “first” with “market value” too often.

When we start talking about “which one should we get? First appearance as regular citizen, first masked, first in full costume, then first named as alter ego with cover” the answer is “watch the market.”

If you don’t care about it’s value, grab the one you like personally.

If it’s your favorite character of all time, get all four books in dispute and try not to let it bug you that the first issue is worth $10 and the third issue is worth $2,500 or some outrageous price.

Not always Hulk 180 went for more than 181 before 1985.

Once Tears for Fears released their hit “Hulk 181 is Queen” single, it was all over.

The true first appearance of Wolverine is the friends we made along the way arguing about it.

No it’s not.

I would guess first fulls started being more sought after when encapsulation became popular.

Especially when those 2nd app also were covers. Once Hulk 180 is entombed, can’t look at the last page anymore. What’s the point?

181 you can drool all over all day long behind that plastic…

Not true you can drool over the label😂

That 181 looks like a 6.0 I’ve got to have it re graded sometime.
