All of them probably
Another example of why this forum is so great (and all of you).
Anything Agents of Atlas and White Fox were recommended from day one & shortly after on here.
I specifically bought the Yu Contests variant for cheap after it was brought up.
I have 5 copies of that YU
Could someone share whats happening with White Fox ? And why the interest in Namor too ?
Some people think Namor will be in Black Panther 2 been a rumor since Endgame came out due to the under water explosion in Wakanda mentioned in a scene. White Fox people assume will be in some kind of Agents of Atlas show or movie. Had no idea people were asking $1500 for the 1:25 last I looked they were $75 so I’ll have to dig them out and list one.
Sadly I only have the second print of Agents 2, but glad I have the 4 book run to list as a whole at some point.
I missed the boat on White Fox. Midtown had a sale on her first app a few months back but I just didn’t care to order.
Thanks but what is the reason for thinking that an Agent of Atlas movie is in the works ? Theres always been chatter on White Fox, Asian supers, etc. but what is causing the chatter to spike now. Same question for Namor. Its seems that theres more interest again. Is there some new spec, in a movie? TV show? interview ?, etc.
Apologize if I am asking something I should know.
People thought agents of atlas was gonna spin off shang chi which didn’t happen but with Disney and Marvel marketing to Asia and agents of atlas having a bunch of first appearances people think we’ll see them at some point
The second print of #2 is my favorite cover, it’s also super low on the print.
Feige said something about Agents Of Atlas or Asian super hero team in February of 2020 nothing since, for all we know it’s the Shang Chi siblings.
That may be, but the market loves the first print. Also, I’m not always convinced that additional printings = smaller print runs. Perhaps 1st print caught a lot of people by suprise that FOC received more orders for second print that the first print received.
I know it doesn’t seem like all that long ago, but Agents of Atlas #1/#2 are now about 2.5 years old.
At that point in time, people were still not all that interested in later printings of books. The craziness about subsequent printings was something that is really more recent than that and really hit its peak during the onset and feeding frenzy of COVID. I’m not saying there wasn’t interest in later printings, but it was nothing like it is today. It’s funny how so much can change in just a few years, but it really did.
Nobody cared all that much about Agents of Atlas when it first released…certainly not all that much about later printings. I can say the same for so many later printings. I was grabbing subsequent printings of books like Lady Thor, Spider-Gwen, Hawkeye, Silks, etc, etc out of dollar bins still at that point in time.
Certainly, there are books that I don’t buy into the “low print run” hype on, but I really don’t think there are all that many subsequent printings of these Agents books out there. There just wasn’t a reason for shops to order them. There were 1st printings in excess at the time.
Just my thoughts anyway.
I think Venom 3 3rd print is what really blew them up cause that book was going for a lot last year and people arguing about that vs the Frankie’s exclusive and so many people were afraid of missing the boat again so later printings became the hot thing after so many years of collectors not caring and now every later print is ordered heavily like all the strange academy printings. Or people thinking its gonna be lower and then the number bought is the opposite
Count me among those who didn’t care about subsequent printings but am now trying to pick them up whenever I can find them. I definitely see the appeal with later printings.
captain marvel 17 2nd print was the first one to really blow up. the venom 3rd print for knull blew up to much to fast for the size of its print run
I think this is right. This was not a case where everyone realized that Sword Master’s first app was in #2 and ordered the 2nd print. The only two entries I could find in Comichron for #2 were 20k and 4k. Pretty sure #2 2nd print is actually a rare, low print book.
issue 1 print number is artificially inflated, marvel doubled cover A orders for free. but the double didn’t count toward incentives. 1 and 2 were always great buys, just took a while for people to catch on
Diamond doesnt disclose order numbers for Marvel books, especially 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc prints, under 5k…
But the 2nd print doesn’t have sword master on the cover so I don’t think it will ever over take the first print.
