yep most of the 2nd prints to blow up was because it was 1st cover, this isnt the case here so it will likely be held back quite a bit
I definitely love first cover and first appearances, but Swordmaster was already on the cover of issue #1. I have both prints of #2 and the second print is what I keep displayed on my wall because of the art. The color palette is on point. Subjectively, issue 2A is too bland to me.
However, your points are valid, so, who knows?
Is, “Animal Castle,” a good read? I’ve heard more and more buzz…
I really enjoyed it.
I just bought a few.
i bought 2 copies from mcs, but havent got them yet, but the reviews seem good, and like you said ive seen alot of other people talking about it
I thought it was a solid 1st issue - basically a modern update on Orwell’s Animal Farm. It’s a post-human take on animal society and those in power living off the abuse of the lower working class. I’m looking forward to the rest of the story.
Don’t know about spec value, but if Secrets of Nimh can be an animated movie, I guess any social commentary can get made eventually.
Noticed graded copies of Spider-Man 2099 (1992)
have moved today.
Any rumors floating?
He will be in the Across the Spider-verse (Into the Spider-verse 2) teaser being released today (possibly tomorrow).
Thanks! As always you are on top of the informational flow for everything
The problem with the character is ASM #365 and Spidey 2099 #1 are heavily printed books. ASM #365 did fly off the shelves due to the hologram when it came out but still an easy find for below $10.
Supply & Demand. After 10,20, 30 years, print runs stop mattering.
yeah how many 9.8s of asm 300 are on the census and yet it still carries a huge premium
If there’s demand … they don’t matter a day after release either.
Future foundation spidey suit gonna be in fortnite
First appearance of the suit in FF 1 and a pretty dope Marko Djurjevic cover
Selling contest of champions 1 like crazy today, so far sold 3 and down to my last 2. Raised the price on them and tempted to sell the game variant
There was still plenty of Newsstands and the huge chain book stores were all still in business in 1992.
