I basically stopped speccing on most indies. Every week theres tons of them that im sure are amazing stories but it just gets so tiring trying to chase after what might be the next hot indie. Nottingham, Shadecraft, if it gets hot and I find them for cheap then sure

I agree with this. I don’t like playing Poker or hoping I get the hot hand here and there. When I do win, a few dollars here and there is still not worth my time and effort. Boxing up every darn single issue is a PIA. And I hate losing

I generally buy the first issue of most indie comics if I have enough funds at the time. I like supporting smaller publishers, like reading more off-the-beaten-path quirky titles, and sometimes a book gets hot suddenly.

Just guessing… didnt see him in the clip. But definitely some Indian lettering plus feel. Other sites dont seems to indicate him though.
I personally dont like the Spiderman India costume, but as long as the story is good I can go with any variation. I hope they dont screw up this Spiderverse animated follow-up with too many characters and a diluted story.

My guess is that you are preparing a spare warehouse to store those if you have been collecting for for decades or are prepared to do so if not? 99.9% of these are probably worth not much more than the paper they are printed on.
As I discussed in other posts, I do massive collection purges every year or two where I sell 90% of what I have. I try not to have more than 15-20 shortboxes of stuff. Of those purges a lot is indie stuff, but I enjoyed reading it as I am a reader first and speculator/collector/whatever second. Otherwise I wouldn’t even bother with a lot of indie stuff if I were just after making a profit. I flip comics to fund what I buy to enjoy, basically. The hobby sustains itself that way.

I flip comics to fund what I buy to enjoy too. So far, while I am making more flipping comics than I spend on them every year, I dont make enough to fund my original comic art collection. I make more flipping original comic art than I do comic books!
