No reason for a raw 1st print to sell that high unless it’s shilled. Plenty of raws under $400 and 9.6’s under $500

Speaking of SIKTC I am getting $15-20 steadily for the foil LCSD covers. They sell almost instantly when I list them as buy it now.

Did they name a source for us to cross reference? Or is it just arbitrary numbers put up by an app that has serious conflicts of interest?
I wouldn’t be trusting any ‘source’ who is telling you what’s ‘hot’, or what not, if they were sitting on this. 
Do you think that app has ulterior motives when they send their paying ‘customers’ alerts about what comics are moving when the guy who created and runs the app has 50 copies of that/any given book? I certainly do.

I don’t defend KCC so much as find it useful for alerts and as a quick reference when I’m digging through back issues for finding some notable stuff if I’m unsure about what’s important or not of some random series.

I mentioned this on the main page but Shadecraft #1 is selling for $10-$15. It is still available on tfaw. The Netflix announcement helped. Let’s not forget the tfaw variant had a sale this week at $199

I’m amazed but how much people hate on key collector, it’s just another tool to help you and it’s usually pretty accurate.
That one app alone has helped me make tons of money.

I’ve also sold about 6 of the Invincible LCSD so far at $20 a piece. I found lots of retailers that still had quantities at cover or below and bought them all up so hopefully that pricing holds until I get them all in.

I think there in lies the issue. Money shouldn’t be the lone factor you look at when determining the worth of something.
Covid-19 has helped a lot of people make a lot of money. Should we, the people, not be concerned about covid-19 because others are making money from it?
And should those making money be of the belief that covid is a good thing because they can use it to make money?
Pretty big stretch to compare key collector to Covid…

It’s not a comparison, per se. It is an analogy.
With the point being that something is not inherently ‘good’ because you make money from it.
Snake Oil salesmen make money from selling poison as medicine. Is their poison ‘good’ just because it makes them money?
I knew this was inevitable, just look at Teen Titans 12 and some other special foils or convention “reprints.”
Which is why I was interested in the two you had listed on eBay for $10. Shocked it took so long for them to sell at that price.
I had been adding them to carts here and there when I found them at shops I needed to meet a minimum $ amount to ship.

It’s another tool in the toolbox. As with any spec site or tool, people need to take it upon themselves to do their due diligence when spending their money. If they blindly trust and app or single source (single point failure) that’s in the fool who too easily parts with their money.
I think most of us here know to question KC. I hope before listing something to “make money” they confirm it’s legit spec. Not lies.
