Yeah that dude is for sure lying about allocation, but did it he really get zero copies, or is he about to ebay flip 800 copies, lol.
I definitely didn’t expect the Dominion order to go through. I did expect Derby DC to go through for 3 copies, and it did! I also didn’t expect Westfield to go through, and they didn’t, but at least they canceled immediately. Hoping the 2 copies I got from an ebay person for cover doesn’t come up with some BS. I know for a super fact @faele is gonna come through, though!
Not me. I knew it was a long shot. Any place ordering on or after 1/11 was a long shot.
But now that I’ve secured a couple through other sources, glad they cancelled. I’m not upset about their cancelling my order, I’m upset with what appear to be a fabrication of what actually transpired…just be honest or at least fabricate a more believable story like they did not get extra orders in by 1/11. I’m pretty sure “allocation” can be disproven. Just kindly Ask your LCS’s if they got any such message from the distributor. The fact they actually did some math just wreaks of desperation…like they want you to pity them for screwing their customers over.
My order of 10 DV20 from Derby Comics DC shows shipped. Was not expecting all 10 to ship as never bought from them before, definitely a shop with integrity I will keep using!
I would pay through PayPal and file a complaint with them saying the vendor is fraudulently listing items they won’t have. These places don’t want to lose PayPal. It worked with comixposure
I did a dive on them on Jan 11th / 12th and posted in here. I found the same info. Looks like the guy runs a pokemon card site (the king of games) and recently launched a comic site end of 2021, if I remember correctly. I think he registered both his websites at the same time end of last year. His instagram makes it looks like he sells out of his NY apartment or something like that.
I think he’s just a guy who got in over his head with the DV20 thing and instead of owning up, decided to wait til the week of to try to save face and claim allocation so people don’t lose trust in him. Unfortunately for him, us CHU people know how things work, lol.

Yeah. Online sales only for comics. I guess we put the pitchforks and torches away for now…at least don’t go storming kings games in Brooklyn at the moment…
Everyone should open a PayPal case he sent me a refund email and never initatied a refund through PayPal. He probably got the books and is trying to pay refunds by selling them. So put in a PayPal resolution even if he gives you a refund email.
