They were. The distributors allocated the number of copies each shop ordered to those respective stores. They just didn’t allocate any copies to stores who didn’t order them.

‘Allocations’ is an excuse. Plain and simple. Marvel is in the business of selling comic books. Why on Earth would they not fulfill the orders for this book, like the 100s of titles they solicit each month? Its BS. Wookie said so much, and is 100% accurate. Disney/Marvel are not in business to cut orders down. Printing less would actually cost them, Disney, more capital. Not going to happen. Ever.
There were no allocations for this book. Period.

Very surprised to see Captain Marvel 8 (Secret red splatter Variant) 1st Star raws holding value.
A 3 book lot of raws sold for near $100 then another copy sold for $60.
Wonder if any Star appearances are in the works?

Strange Academy 1 (Cover A) last two raw sales $185 (best offer) and $141.50 (auction) if raw prices hang out over here those 9.8s at $400ish seem like undervalued?
We shall see $455 is the highest sold price for a 9.8 for this cover.

Strange Academy 1 Cover A is not an easy book to get in 9.8. I’ve submitted a number of them and am only getting say 40% back in 9.8. I sold a 9.6 on eBay today for $230 usd.
The price is going up and it’s a great spec book.
