Modern Comics Heating Up (Those With Potential Too) (Part 1)

Which ones? I don’t see a difference from yesterday before the broadcast.

HR 7 still less tha. $15.

HR 10 still under $20, including the B cover.

HRA 1 & 2 still below $20.

HRA 2 1:10 remains less than. $100.

HRA 6 did rise above $20 which I think got a boost.

Just to name a few

1:10 concept variant seems to be on the up & up.

Not a raw on eBay I can see.

Yeah, I was seeing the same. It looks like maybe more have sold, but mostly just the cheaper copies. The FCBD has sold a few, but again, all for just a few dollars.

It makes one look foolish! Did I get it right? Did I win a no-prize?

Yup. Stale at $100 as I said. Just like yesterday.

I guess I said “less than” though. I think it’s now finally selling at around. The outliers being idiots like the person Alana bought from who don’t know what they’re doing.

For example, the HRA Annual online Exclusive has been selling for $200 but still people listed copies for $100 and less…

Is this really accurate? Maybe many lurkers skew younger than I thought but I had the impression a lot of regular commenters were in their 30s-50s. If we have lots of younger readers then that is great news for comic collecting!

You will see a lot of varying prices on idw exclusives because a lot are damaged. People listing them as brand new and leaving them in the poly bag with 27 spine ticks.

Possible. Just know I said “don’t take them out if you’re selling!”

You can also advertise as “unread” condition!

You guys might want to grab a couple copies of Han Solo & Chewbacca #1 tonight:

Also Cover A of #3.

I was actually showing you some raw copies of adventures 2 1:10. I thought that’s what book you were writing about.

Which comic are you referring to? The HRA #2 1:10 “concept”? If so, I don’t think that exists.

If not, carry on.

I have no ill will towards Jim or his videos. I just think that his influence is unjustified, and I gave my reasons why I think that. To each their own. :beers:

That seems like a more accurate source to base an assessment on, imo. :beers:

The Mandalorian has a successful show and has been around. High Republic’s work is mostly novels. It’s hard to use these as a comparison.

I wasn’t comparing. I was pointing out the potential for major growth.

Not sure how accurate but remember, public forum… I’d say in any given day around 50 regulars who are actual members who login comment daily while the thousands of other views we get are not logged in and browsing the site.

Isn’t there a way to block them?
