I sometimes wonder what would’ve happened if I never found CHU. To be honest I don’t think I would’ve ever found CHU if it wasn’t for the pandemic. At that time I was pretty much out of floppy comics, I was only buying trades and hardcovers of runs that I really liked. Then the pandemic happened and I had all this time at home and all my shops had shut down.
I was still very fascinated by what’s happening in the comic book industry so I was watching a bunch of youtube channels about comics and that was how I found ComicTom and Keycollector. To think that my only resources for comics at that time was ComicTom and KC absolutely horrifying. I respect how ComicTom has built up his audience as a content creator because it’s not easy but there was something very offputting about ComicTom that I couldn’t get passed. He was hyping and pumping up books like he was a used car salesman that I couldn’t completely trust.
I then tried to look for other resources and found ReggieCollects and JimComics, both of these guys I really really like. I remember how Reggie talked about the ‘thrill of the hunt’ and I never knew what that meant. I’ve been collecting comics for over 25 years off and on and I never knew what the thrill of the hunt meant lol. But I remember how excited he was when he was digging and found a gem at a con or his LCS. I was intrigued, and also because I got so much time on my hands it eventually led me to CHU.
I just want to thank everyone here @Anthony, @agentpoyo, @Alana, @drunkwooky, faele and everyone here, there’s too many of you all to name for this great community that has made me a more informed buyer. Also thanks to davidbitterbaum for his awesome jokes that had made this community so much fun. Thank you all!
No. Pullbox is far superior. My one shop switched away from League of Comic Geeks and I’m glad they did. It’s better than the old email or pen and paper pull list, but It’s not really helpful for placing orders before FOC unless you keep up with it. Previews Pullbox, which you’ve used, pulls in all that info.

I think it is. Guy knows who Han is, likely got some intell from a former associate…finds out his dads name and where Han hangs out…now dressed up like an old dude strikes up a conversation.
But I gotta grab one now just to read through it and officially judge for myself. Did Han approach him
Or the other way around? the best con artists will make it seem like you started the conversation or walked up to them to establish trust though.
