selling any copies of issue 1 is crazy imo, unless you are hard up for cash sit on them. i know the uf4 comparison gets used way to much, but SA #1 has everything going for it to be the next uf4 or eosv2, only time will tell if it can pull it off.

As a group or is there a particular individual within the group that is going to be popular ? I like the Gaslamp character, and then the series got cancelled or is it getting rebooted (?)

its more like a 2nd season, #1’s sell alot of issues and store variants, so marvel likes to do new #1s every 12-25 issues for every series, emily, doyle and zoe are the big 3 of the class atm in popularity from fans

yea, like i said it has everything going for it, but only time will tell if it can pull it off. it needs to maintain the quality in story and art for another season (15-25 issues) if it can i think it will be firmly locked in as a marvel comic staple

@DocCRR I also like Gaslamp. Certainly the design is role thus far is cool, but what I found interesting is that while he was introduced to us as a “new” character, he was clearly not “new” to the established Marvel Universe. Brother Voodoo knew him, Gaslamp was well versed in things, etc, etc. He is what appears to be a pretty powerful, long term player. I also got the sense that while he is a villain, he is a bit of a force of nature/trickster type of evil. I sort of like that angle in a character. Something akin to Loki.
Regardless, I’ll continue to buy every single copy of SA I can get ahold if the price is right. Absolutely love the series and characters in it.

SA is coming back for season 2 but I’ve read they’ll be a new creative team which sucks. Most of the appeal to me regarding SA was Ramos art. Would be a shame they’ll be a new artist. Was talking to my shop and he was stunned that Ramos fully committed to 12 issues.

Yeah, artist changes really turn me off of some titles. The majority of Marvel artists are mediocre; I would rather read a book than some of that hot turd ash pasted across the pages.
I wonder if that 9.8 has that defect (like most/all of the 2nd prints do?)

My laziness of listing my BP 3 first print has paid off. Anyone with a 9.8 candidate should not be selling this now. Feels like demand far outweighs supply at this point as people are still loading up on copies.

Is it really the pumpers though? Every youtuber/spec site I have seen says bp3 is based on fomo and that it’s not worth the current market price. Advice was to sell QUICK. The only pumper I’ve seen is bleedingstool who caters to the novice speculator. OMG Batman’s Wang is exposed in Damned! Buy now to secure your kids future! Such a trash site.
