I believe the 2nd print cover is art from inside so I’d consider that at least a cameo in the guts.
What’s a Codex? When you have the sniffles?
No. Codex is for that special time of the month.
A Pokédex keeps track of your Pokémon.
Any idea of the impetus?
Sorry I have not seen any news as to why those books were moving.
It hasn’t
Oh okay, thanks for looking into it anyway.

2nd print announced yesterday
Star Wars Darth Vader #6 (2017) - Easy $40 book currently, pending grade from looks. Some have gone for $15.
Star Wars Darth Vader #7 (2017) - Looks like it’s an easy $15-$20 now.
Star Wars Darth Vader #16 (2017) - Looks like most are listing around the $10 range.
Star Wars Ep 1 The Phantom Menace #3 - Already kind of pricey with Maul being introduced I think as his first ever appearance.
Star Wars #13 (1998) Dark Horse - Lower grade solds from $18 to $30
The thing about all of these varied Star Wars books being discussed…they’ve been on the radar now or already highlighted for a long time.
I guess the new focus is a good “sell em if you got em” point and I do appreciate the insight/information. I just don’t see anyone finding these out in the wild for cheap at this point in time with rare exception of course.
Yup. Maybe. Just books to keep a watchful eye on to see if they continue to climb or hold steady as well. But yes, if you got a few extras, I say sell now and hold a few.
I went to my honey hole LCS and man have they changed. Before I was able to get cheap books and now they are ALL priced at or above eBay prices. Some of the prices are from early 2019. Like Darth Vader #3 they have raw copies at $250 like WHAT are they smoking there lol. Anyways to say that yesterday I had some free time on my lunch and went to eBay. I made an offer on a 9.6 of $100 and the person accepted it. Which was a shocker to me since I was just playing around and didnt want to buy the book yet. I wasnt expecting the lowball offer to get accepted…
So true. Seems like alot of people are still stuck in the glory year of “2019-2021” when comes to pricing comics. I really hope some of these dealer would acknowledge the current time.
In my experience, you’d have to put a gun to most dealer’s heads before they’d ever lower it bellow it’s apex
Its funny that they will talk down on your book (ALMOST ALWAYS), but pump up their book.
DEALER on buying: “Yeah, can’t really give you FMV for that UF4 because it is simply not rare and it just so common. At most I can you 40% of FMV.”
DEALER on selling: “Yeah, can’t really give you a discount on that UF4 cuz its a hot book and there are like 2 movies coming out based on Miles.”
Holding out for top dollar only works if something is really hot. So it’s pointless not to compromise, especially when it costs them $2 for the book. Inventory will just eat into your gains
Star Wars 16 is the first cover. You might find that in the wild near cover right now.
