Something needs to be pretty heavy to make it a better price point, yes.
Usually 4 lbs or more. And most things I’ve ever shipped that weight don’t fit in their couple specially sized boxes.
I’ve been watching this book. Only a couple sales because no one wanted a 2nd print. The ratio has just skyrocketed!
I was surprised when I walked into USPS and asked about the pre paid Priority Mail box prices. I was quoted $17 which is terrible…for one book?

With gas prices and such, I am not surprised it didn’t happen sooner. Problem is prices never go down.

Hello - I frequent this site as a valuable source of information, so I wanted to follow this discussion up as the Iron Man sale was my book. There’s no shilling on our end. I don’t know what’s going on with it but the buyer paid as soon as the auction ended. Since the auction ended I have received one message asking me to sell the book OVER the closing amount and another from a different comic spec site asking me to confirm if the sale was real. The book was only on auction as I list any unsold incentives when I change out the new books each week. This one sat on the shelf unsold for a week at $24.99 in the store, so to see the price it hit is mystifying to us as well.
