Modern Comics Heating Up (Those With Potential Too) (Part 1)

I think the only thing that would kill this is if they somehow make it where Spider-Boy was a character that’s appeared before and then the momentum swings a little in the direction of some book from who knows when. Not that it would decimate the book, but it’ll definitely put a damper on the spec/value. A brand new character would keep this going I think. Just my opinion tho

I bought two copies for $60 + shipping.

LMAO !!!

Wrong FOC date
Wrong discount

When the new #1 came out, someone from the board wanted to buy my original #1. Never sold it. May plunk it on eBay and see what happens.

No points for guessing what book will be #1 in the top 10 at cbsi

Thou Shalt Not Speak Bad Of Alex Ross!!

Yeah, he puts stuff on there that most people can’t get without paying a huge premium

Asking $75 for the 1:25 too.

What a deal!

Ross is great in a number of cases but sometimes his stuff does admittedly look a little too plastic, kinda?

I am an unabashed Alex Ross fan but his weakness is making everyone look 50+ years old, whether that fits the character or not.

And it’s been a pretty slow spec year so far… speculators had to hype up some first with possibly lower print run in hopes to make a little extra cash.

There really hasn’t been too much in the way of hot new releases.

So what does that mean? You get one copy?

Was anything official ever announced?

Anyone see where Image pushed the release of Worldtr33 to 4/23? Apparently it’s a printer issue.

I mentioned it a bit ago, don’t recall which thread I did tho so it deserves to be discussed here too for sure!
